Abstract

Development of environmentally friendly organic reactions is one of the most important issues in modern organic chemistry. We have investigated new systems which enable clean reactions and found the following reaction systems. (1) New catalytic systems which work well in water. (2) New polymer catalysts which are recoverable and reusable. (3) Stereoselective reactions using highly organized catalysts. These results will lead to the development of clean, environmentally friendly reaction systems which do not produce waste materials.
