Abstract

The objective of the project is to support formation of the policies for solving problems on municipal solid waste management in least among less-developed countries by their own efforts. Field researches were conducted in order to grasp the state of the waste-related material flow and pollution. A workshop with stakeholders was held in order to share information on the waste. As a result, it is implied that information sharing and discussion within stakeholders supported by scientific information can activate their own capacities for solving the problem.
