Lots of research projects are conducted in Alliance for Global Sustainability (AGS). Regarding contribution to education of the students in the University of Tokyo (UT), there are three attempts; 1) provide research opportunities in the individual AGS projects, 2) support activities in the AGS UT Student Community (UTSC), and by 3) sending participants to Youth Encounter for Sustainability (YES). Being a member in the projects will let the student acquire deep and concrete knowledge in a specific domain, while it is difficult to learn from other projects with different perspectives. UTSC activities will help students find colleagues with similar interests and initiate some activities and establish network of leaders in the next generation, but on the other hand, there are less interaction with the AGS research projects. YES tries to incorporate more research results into education process in its 2-week curriculum as an ongoing effort. In this project, we have tried to design on-line learning system that uses AGS research projects for education in the University of Tokyo. The system is based on the idea of OCEAN for sustainability, which is an outcome from previous activity in the UTSC.
