Abstract

The ultimate objective of this project is to evaluate the reduction of environmental loading and cost by introducing cleaner production into newly planned industrial are in Nansha, Guangzhou, China. Comparison between Japan and China in water energy use and solid waste generation in steel industry and others. Water is already recycled in Chinese steel factory to some extent, but the recycle percentage in Japanese practice is higher than that. Saving of water is expected by introducing Japanese technologies.
